Been a record 2+ years since I've blogged - hopefully can start blogging routinely now that the 2 monkies are a bit older. So big monkie Marcus just turned 5! Since we have never threw him a big bday bash before we thought 5 is a good year for one. He's old enough to remember and appreciate all the work put in. Marcus is currently in Minion mode so naturally our party was all about the minions including a minion cake, minion cupcakes, minion invitations, minion goodie bags, etc. We had over 50 guests including Marcus' classmates and some of our dear friends here in Taipei. It was manic but def memorable.

just ordered this lil romper for Milla from www.gap.com was debating between this one and the one w/ spaghetti straps...opted for this one to give her shoulders a bit more coverage (the aircon in taipei is always blowing at arctic temperatures)..... soooo looking forward to some warm and sunny weather in Taipei soon so she can rock da romper. hope it fits!

isn't this the best invention ever? u just dunk this big ole chunk of pure chocolate into a mug of hot milk/soy and w/in seconds enjoy the richest, most chocolatiest hot chocolate beverage ever. no more of that sugary powder stuff.

Super anxious my lil yorkie will be finally re-joining the chen clan making it almost 100% complete (still missing J.Lo, my shih-tzu) who is currently M.I.A. right now - loooong story. She is currently en route from LA to TPE scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning. I am anxious and praying that she made it thru the flight safe and sound. It's not easy being trapped in a tiny kennel for almost 24 hours! Sucks tho, cuz after she arrives she will have to be sent to the quarantine site for 21 days (a requirement for all dogs and cats entering Taiwan - a rabies free island). So far, it's been a rough process but I'm hoping all will end well.
